Lived rehab experience

Pat's passion for sport injury rehabilitation stems deeply from extensive personal experience with injuries while managing his pursuit of competitive sport. He has recovered from a long list of injuries, including bilateral biceps tendon tears, grade 2 hamstring strains, and IT band pain. As an athlete, he learned to navigate the challenges of rehabilitation while training for a competition.

Athlete care and sport science

Pat considers physiotherapy a practice and is constantly working to improve his athlete care. He works closely with high level athletes, including Team Canada Fencers, National level Powerlifters and Olympic Weightlifters. He has a varied caseload including athletes from basketball, volleyball, racquet sports (tennis, badminton, pickleball), and combat sports (BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing). As well, he has a passion for helping older individuals facing decline in physical function with age, illness, or injury.
